
Osteocare is hosting a course in London next month to introduce its dental implant system.
Taking place on Wednesday 2nd March, between 2-6pm at Holiday Inn Regents Park, ‘Introduction to dental implants with hands-on’ is designed for dentists to find out whether dental implants are for them and their practice. Delegates will learn from Dr Martin Attariani, who qualified from Gothenburg University, Sweden, Professor Brånemark pioneered dental implants.
The course
The course will cover history of dental implants, terminology and different parts, overview of the different types of implants, indications, surgical procedures, prosthetic restoration, advanced techniques, post-op care, complications and case presentations. You will also get a chance to place an Osteocare implant in a pig’s jaw and practise impression taking. The course will also give an overview of the training options available.
Suitable for dentists with little or no previous experience in implantology. Cost is £125 + VAT, includes four hours of verifiable CPD.
The lecturer
Dr Martin Attariani DDS MSc (Biochemistry) Sweden, qualified from the prestigious dental school at Gothenburg’s University, Sweden, same university where Professor Brånemark placed the very first dental implant in 1965. Dr Attariani runs the very successful Orchid Dental Centre and Beauty Spa, Northamptonshire. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and implants. He placed his first dental implant as an undergraduate student at the Gothenburg dental school. He has been offering single, multiple and full arch implant treatments to his patients since 2008.
