To show support and solidarity with the NHS frontline workers, FMC is launching an Instagram initiative – and wants you to get involved.
This week, fmc-stage.thinkdemo.co.uk and all FMC titles changed their colours from red to blue as part of the nationwide #lightitblue campaign.
Now, we are asking individuals, practices and businesses to post a simple blue square on Instagram to show support for those working and volunteering to help fight COVID-19.
Amy Molony, social media manager for FMC, says: ‘Social media can be a positive way to spread messages of solidarity and show workers and volunteers that their efforts are greatly appreciated.
‘By posting a blue square to Instagram and challenging others to also #lightitblue, we are not only saying thank you but showing the NHS there is a strong community supporting its hard work every step of the way.’
This is just one of a number of announcements FMC has planned for the upcoming days and weeks.
Craig Welling, FMC’s commercial director, says: ‘Small gestures at this time can make a huge difference to morale.
‘While we can’t all get involved with frontline efforts, we can demonstrate our support and gratitude for those working hard to fight this pandemic.’
