This completely free event is the perfect opportunity to explore the latest topics, advancements and technology in digital and implant dentistry and come-face-face with leading clinicians in the profession.
It will offer cutting edge lectures from digital and implant dentistry specialists and the chance to meet hundreds of leading brands.

The Digital Theatre, powered by the IDDA, will showcase a wide variety of leading digital lectures aimed at dentists with additional talks for principals and practice managers interested in the business side of digital dentistry.

Adam Nulty – Improving diagnostics and planning with artificial intelligence and 3D printing – sponsored by IDDA
Adam a highly experienced clinician with a special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, digital dentistry and implant dentistry.
In 2013 he completed a master of science degree in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and is currently researching guided implant dentistry in a PhD at Leeds University.
In this lecture, Adam will discuss what impacts AI has on improving patient diagnostics and present recent and relevant research on AI and smile design and patient practice improvement.
Kilian Plunger – Ultimate aesthetics: connected solutions from prepping to rechecking – sponsored by Zirkonzahn
Kilian has been working as a dental technician at Steger Dental Laboratory (Zirkonzahn) in Brunico, Italy, since 2021.
Specialising in CAD/CAM, digital technology and demo models, he works as course instructor and is a member of the dental technical support department. He also speaks at dental technical events and conferences worldwide.
His lecture will show how Zirkonzahn’s connected workflows will greatly simplify your daily work processes to meet your customers’ expectations.

Andy Thomas – The importance of patient finance in a recessionary environment – sponsored by Medenta
Andy Thomas is a business development manager at Medenta. He has worked within the dental industry, and specifically in the patient finance sector, since 2016.
He also has a real passion for helping dental practices understand the benefits of offering finance options, both for the practice and the patients.
In this lecture, Andy will delve into a number of aspects including why patient finance is so relevant in this environment, how to use it to help you to attract new patients, and how it helps patients to access the treatments that they want/need.
Andy will also look at the other benefits of patient finance such as improved cash flow, decreased bad debts and improved staff morale.
Alif Moosajee – Enhancing patient communication with digital workflows
Alif Moosajee is an award-winning principal dentist at Oakdale Dental, a specialist dental practice in Leicester. He is also the author of The Smiling Dentist, a jargon-free book for patients about clinical dentistry.
He qualified at Birmingham University in 2004 and has a particular interest in implant dentistry and digital dentistry and loves to merge those two interests to provide his patients a fully digital workflow.
On his lecture, Alif said: ‘Patients have become more discerning and demanding than ever before.
‘This is a wonderful opportunity for dentists because patients want to improve their smiles and understand what is achievable for them and what dentistry can offer.
‘Now more than ever before it’s important to ensure that we can provide our patients with exactly what they want and finding tools to allow us to communicate this to them is key.
‘In this presentation we will try to show you some of those tools to help you to get predictable results for your patients so that you can make them happy.’
Dan Shaffer – When clear aligners go wrong: tips and tricks for troubleshooting – sponsored by Active Aligners
Dan is an experienced dentist and dental technician who has a passion and flair for all things digital.
His dental practice, a private digital restorative practice in Hertfordshire, is well respected in the area by patients and dental professionals alike.
Attendees of his lecture will gain an understanding of the problems that can impact success when taking on clear aligner cases.
The objectives of his lecture are to:

Justin Leigh is the founder of Focus4growth. A sales and leadership training company specialising in the dental market.
He has trained thousands of sales professionals throughout his career in leading companies like Align Technology, W&H, Septodont, Biohorizons Camlog, SDI, Mismile Network and the British Dental Industry Association.
Justin said of his lecture: ‘Taking a consultative approach to patient conversations changes the patient’s perspective and gives them confidence that we offer the most compelling treatment options.’
He hopes his lecture will:

Andreea Shavit – Meshmixer decoded: all rounder toll for the digital dentist – sponsored by IDDA
Andreea Shavit’s lecture will present a practical guide for daily use of Meshmixer together with tips and tricks to help create models, surgical guides, splints, mock-ups.
Attendees are more than welcome to submit cases that Andreea can work on the day live.

Tanzeel Ahmad – How going digital changed my practice: a brave introduction into digital dentistry – sponsored by IDDA
Tanzeel’s lecture will start with an introduction into his own digital journey and why he decided to go digital from an associates perspective.
He will discuss executing safe complex treatments, guided implant surgery and guided orthodontics (CBCY planning and adult orthodontics using Invisalign).
As well as this, Tanzeel will discuss management of tooth wear without an impression, including where we go from here, robotic assistance, and enhanced imaging and surgical optics.
João Gonçalves – Digital dentistry: how can I get it and what will be the future? – sponsored by Swift Dental Group
João Gonçalves is a Portuguese engineer with extensive background in digitising different industries (banking, insurance, telecoms, government).
With a profound knowledge regarding digitisation and printing, he can make the bridge between the different industries and different countries bringing to dentistry a fresh and innovative view.
His lecture on digital dentistry will cover:
- Digitisation advantages
- How to get it

- What is the future of a digitised workflows?

Quintus van Tonder – Digital smile design innovations – sponsored by IDDA
Professor Quintus van Tonder qualified in dental surgery in 2000 from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Following this, he worked in a dental clinic for a year and within this time he provided and maintained dental care and hygiene for thousands of thousands of underprivileged patients.
He then moved to the UK, where he undertook further education and completed a course in aesthetic dentistry. This is when he started to develop a specialised interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.
In this lecture he will discuss digital smile design concepts and innovations. He will also present recent and relevant research on 2D and 3D smile design.
