Dentists in hospitals to join 72-hour strike
Dentists working in hospitals employed under the junior contract will join their medical colleagues in a walkout from 13 March.
The British Dental Association (BDA) has responded to its claim that a 3.5% rise is ‘affordable’ next year, with its chair, Eddie Crouch, saying: ‘With inflation soaring, a miserly 3.5% pay rise will clearly take its toll.’
The BDA and the British Medical Association (BMA) recently called for sweeping reform of the pay review process.
