Mrs. Swati Nehete

I am a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, Whitechapel. I have been in post since 2004 and continue to enjoy teaching of Prosthetics, Prosthodontics and broad Restorative dentistry to students. I have good insight into the challenges posed to the dental practitioner. I have a research interest in TM Joint Dysfunction and Bioactive glasses. I undertook Prosthetics training at the Eastman Dental Institute followed by senior house officer training posts in Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative dentistry. I have enjoyed working with influential Prosthodontists and doing research with Prof Robert Hill and Dr David Gillam. I have been involved with bioactive glasses since 2009. My brief stint in general practice allowed me to recognise the complexities of providing dental care to the patient community.
