Dentistry Cribs heads to Your Smile Clinic in Manchester this month, with Angela Ly walking us around her practice.
This newly refurbished practice:
- Includes two surgeries (with availability for a third)
- Situated in a grade 2 listed building
- Offers private treatments ranging from facial aesthetics to orthodontics.
‘I tried to design the practice so it is really comfortable and doesn’t feel like a traditional dental practice,’ Angela says.
‘The idea behind the standing reception desk is to ensure everybody is at the same eye level. This way there is no barrier to communication between the dental staff and patients.
‘The building was originally the offices for the Rochdale canal, it’s a grade 2 listed building. That was one of the reasons I fell in love with the building. It has lots of original features and lovely high ceilings.’
Your Smile Clinic
The stylish Your Smile Clinic offers a gentle calm practice to patients to provide a stress-free journey to dentistry.
Established in 2020, the practice is in the heart of Manchester, right next to the Rochdale Canal and surrounded by superb transport links and car parking.
The practice is kitted out with all the latest equipment including a CBCT scanner, microscope and even a scanning and photography room.
‘I chose the dental chair because of the knee-break feature,’ Angela continues.
‘I wanted a really nice patient flow. When a patient comes in, I want them to feel like there’s no barriers. I can talk to them face to face while they’re sitting down in front of me.’
