Stuart Aherne is making his way to the Irish Dentistry Show next weekend to tackle digitally guided implant surgery – sign up now!
Back by popular demand, the Irish Dentistry Show 2022 is returning to Dublin next weekend.
On 3 September 2022, the Irish Dentistry Show is touching down at Croke Park.
We can’t wait to bring together Ireland’s dental professionals with key brands and leading speakers for a full-scale exhibition.
The day promises to bring key brands, leading speakers and the latest topics in dentistry for every member of the practice team.
‘We are really excited to get back to Dublin this year,’ says Leanna Ellis, events director at FMC.
‘We have a fantastic line-up of expert speakers to deliver top-class lectures. And, as always, there will be an array of stands at our exhibition so you can stay abreast of the latest technologies in dentistry.
‘But that’s not all – that weekend we are also hosting the Irish Dentistry Awards. If you’ve been shortlisted, don’t forget to buy your tickets by visiting www.fmc-stage.thinkdemo.co.uk/awards.’
Stuart Aherne – A guide to digitally guided implant surgery
Stuart qualified from the University of Wales college of medicine in 2001.
He also completed vocational training in Cardiff from 2001-2002.
In addition, he has wored in Aherne Dental Clinic, a practice limited to aesthetic and implant dentistry, since 2002.
He is an affiliate member of the European Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry as well as a full member of the Digital Dentistry Society.
Of his lecture, Stuart said: ‘Guided/navigated implant surgery is nothing new in implant dentistry. But the digital revolution in dentistry that has occurred particularly over the last 10 years has taken guided implant surgery to a new level.
‘But with all new disciplines it is important to learn the principles of how to provide this treatment and to take baby steps initially before diving in at the deep end.
‘In this presentation I hope to provide you some of those basic stepping stones for this evolving area of implant dentistry.’
He hopes delegates take away from his lecture:
- The tools required for digitally required surgery
- How to provide this treatment for patients in a predictable and safe manner.
What’s on at the Irish Dentistry Show?
