This week the government announced a 2.8% pay rise for hospital and community dentists after their vital contribution to the COVID-19 pandemic. Great news! But is this going to filter down to high street NHS practices? If so, 2.8% won’t nearly cover PPE costs, the cost of fallow time and any other equipment practices install to stop the spread of the virus.
